So far so good.. we are still chugging away but losing speed now that the nice weather is here.. next up is our walkways steps and landscaping that we be completed late July and then hopefully some nice light granite.(Someday). Hope all is well with all of you and hope you liked all the updates!! what is everyone else up to ? tired of projects yet??? :)

We hired out for this job which was basically install crown molding throughout the rest of the house.. the contractor was great and gave us an amazing deal... he even did these HUGE boxes for us .. they are 4x6 feet boxes and make the foyer look so different... still not sure what to put in them.. any ideas?
Here is our first guest bedroom.. the color is on the rocks by SW.. its a light grey and I LUURRVVE it !!! The furniture was from Pier One.. I think they were on clearance so we got it for such a good deal!! we DIY those pics on the wall from some clip art we found on the web and put them in cheap frame

More pics of the boxes....
Here is the office with furniture from Raymore and Flanigan... I tried my hand at stripes and thougt they came out pretty nice !! So hard to get a full pic of the room...the colors are latte and Kilim Beige from SW

These pics show all the crown molding that was installed throughout the house.. it really does make such a difference for a small price....
Here is another pic of the guest room bathroom vanity
No DIY just organized !!
Other side of foyer with boxes

Here is our cute downstairs half bath.. color is latte and believe it or not the crown looks great in here against the dark color!!
This was one of our best DIY projects ever .. we tore out all of those wire shelves that were horrible and bought closet organizer shelves from Lowes and put it all together designing this...sooo nice to see and find everyting
Looks amazing. We had boxes installed too. I get so many compliments on the boxes.
ReplyDeleteEverything you've done is so gorgeous, so put-together. It looks like a model home! We did the boxes in our master bedroom, and I ordered black tree wall decals to put in the boxes. I love it, and we get so many compliments on it. The tree branches make the eye travel up so you can appreciate the height of the ceiling -- I would imagine that would be pretty awesome in the 2-story foyer.
ReplyDeleteLook amazing! I love the gray color and will totally be using it for our kitchen and family room!
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done. The spare rooms look great. You just gave me some inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteWow its showroom quality. Im impressed, what a wow factor with the crown moulding. Its amazing!! I so want those boxes in our foyer, it looks empty without them. I kick myself for not adding the trim package!! May I ask the cost. You can email me at dlk1613@aol.com. You always wonder how much YOU save my doing it yourself vs. hiring people. sometimes its worth it and sometimes NOT.
ReplyDeleteHi DW it cost us 1000 for labor and around 1000 for all the material and paint... He put up crown in the family room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms and three baths and four boxes in the foyer
DeleteYour house looks unbelievable! I can't believe your pantry!!! Your foyer looks awesome too. I am dying to do something with our foyer, the plain white walls are killing me. And the guest rooms look so professional! Amazing... all of it!! (My only complaint is not enough updates from you ;)).
ReplyDeleteWhen you swapped out the guest bathroom sink did it have tile under it? We are building now & doing standard double bowl vanity in kids bathroom but I'll want to swap it out after moving in. Wondering how hard it will be...will I need exact measurements of existing vanity if they don't lay the tile underneath? Great idea on pantry, by the way. We use that same system for current hubby's closet. Good to know for pantry. :))
